History Of TripoleyThe game of Tripoley is produced by Cadaco Toys in Chicago, IL. There are many versions of the original game available, from playing mats to plastic molded boards to deluxe editions. Tripoley was introduced by Stanley Hopkins in 1932 and Cadaco secured the rights to it in the late 1930's. They have been marketing it from that time. Cadaco was founded in 1935 by Donald Mazer and Charles Berisheimer in San Leandro, California. In 1937, Donald Mazer bought out Berisheimer, married Eleanor Ellis, moved the company to Chicago and changed the name of the company to Cadaco-Ellis. Mazer passed away in 1951 and Ellis ran the company until 1964 when Jules Abramson of Rapid Mounting and Finishing purchased the company. At this time, the name was changed back to Cadaco. Today Cadaco offers eight different Tripoley games:
